ONYX BOOX Go 6

ONYX BOOX Go 6 is a compact E Reader with a 6” E Ink Carta Plus (Carta 1300) screen with front light and touch control. The model has a thin lightweight body of 6.8 mm of thickness and weighs 146 grams. The screen of the device is covered with special protective ONYX Glass. The Go 6 is based on a high-performance 8-core processor and has 2 GB of RAM. The device is equipped with a modern dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 module. Built-in 32 GB of storage and a slot for microSD cards allow you to store a large number of ebooks and documents directly in the device. Thanks to the Android 11 operating system, you can install various third-party applications. The audio player allows you to listen to music and audiobooks, and support for the TTS function allows you to voice text files. The model can be used with a branded magnetic case, which can be additionally purchased to protect the device during transportation.

Front light system

MOON Light 2 technology allows you to use the device in the dark or in poor lighting conditions, without any harm to your sight. When using this function, a soft glow of the screen is being created which is optimal for reading in dark rooms. This front light system has a color temperature adjustment, and thanks to the use of Flicker-Free technology, shimmering of the screen is completely absent.

Multi-touch control

The multi-touch screen provides easy control when reading: page turning with short taps, page moving, two-finger zoom, making notes in the text and usage of additional features. The device allows you to configure tap zones according to user preferences.

Additional screen protection

Protective ONYX Glass is located over the E Ink screen and protects it from scratches and other damages. The use of this glass made it possible to abandon additional frame edges, so the screen is located flush to the body of the device. It makes the work with the E reader more comfortable and its look more up-to-date. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.

Outstanding technical specifications

Its 8-core processor with 2 GHz clock rate and 2 GB of RAM ensure a comfort work with the most complex documents. And 32 GB of nonvolatile memory together with a microSD slot allow the user to keep in the device a considerable amount of data.

Bluetooth

Thanks to a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module you can connect external devices and accessories.

The device supports OTG, thanks to which you can connect additional peripherals which do not require drivers.

Comfortable recording of ebooks into the device

Along with a standard way of copying ebooks into the device with the help of a USB-cable, you may use Wi-Fi to transfer files when connected to the Internet. The cloud PUSH-service BooxDrop is also available.

Format support

The BOOX software allows you to open a number of different text and image file formats. While reading, you can change the style and the size of the font, the position of the pages, add bookmarks and zoom documents at your wish.

Audio player

The device has a pre-installed audio player, so you can listen to music or audio books. To use it, connect earphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type C connector and run a corresponding audio file.

Installation of apps

The Go 6 is based on the Android 11 operating system and allows you to install and use various third-party apps, which significantly expand the abilities of the device.
