ONYX BOOX Tab X C is a 13.3” color E Reader based on a high-performance hardware platform and with wide possibilities for working with documents. The model has an E Ink Kaleido 3 touch screen with front light and color temperature adjustment and dual touch control. The capacitive sensor allows you to conveniently control the device, and the inductive sensor makes it possible to make drawings and handwritten notes. The model is based on a powerful 8-core processor and 6 GB of RAM. The new graphics processor with BOOX Super Refresh technology provides high-speed screen refresh and smooth movement of objects on the screen. Tab X C is perfect not only for reading, but also for working with various types of documents, including color images. The Android 13 operating system allows you to install and use third-party applications. The built-in Wi-Fi module provides the ability to download files from the Internet and use various network services, and Bluetooth support allows you to connect external devices. 128 GB of internal memory makes it possible to store any necessary ebooks and documents in the device without any restrictions. The device is made in a lightweight and durable aluminum-magnesium alloy casing, the screen is additionally covered with a protective glass. The model supports an active stylus for handwritten notes and drawings. The high-capacity 5500 mAh battery provides a long battery life. There are 2 types of cases available for the Tab X C - a magnetic case and a special case with a keyboard and trackpad suitable for user-friendly typing. These cases can be purchased separately. They can be used to protect the ONYX BOOX Tab X C during transportation.

Dual sensor control

ONYX BOOX Tab X С has two sensor layers. A multi-touch capacitive layer is located over the screen surface. You can turn pages of ebooks and zoom documents with intuitive finger movements. In addition, an inductive sensor layer is located under the E Ink panel. Thanks to it, you can make handwritten notes and drawings using a special stylus, recognizing 4096 degrees of pressure and allowing you to draw with extreme accuracy.

Screen front light

MOON Light 2 technology allows you to use the device in the dark or in poor lighting conditions without any harm to your sight. When using this function, a soft glow of the screen is being created which is optimal for reading in dark rooms. This front light system has a color temperature adjustment, and thanks to the Flicker-Free technology, shimmering of the screen is completely eliminated.

High screen refresh speed

The new graphic processor with BOOX Super Refresh technology provides increased screen refresh speed and smooth movement of objects on the screen.

Format support

The BOOX software allows you to open a number of different text and image file formats. While reading, you can change the style and the size of the font, the position of the pages, add bookmarks and zoom documents at your wish.

Additional screen protection

Protective ONYX Glass is applied on the E Ink screen and protects it from scratches and other damage. The new glass made it possible to abandon additional screen borders, so the screen is flush with the body of the device. This makes working with this E Reader more comfortable and its appearance is more modern. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.

Bluetooth

The device supports OTG, thanks to which you can connect additional peripherals that do not require drivers.

Screen auto-rotate function

A built-in G-sensor automatically selects the correct text orientation when the device is rotated. Thanks to this option, you can change the orientation of the E Reader and the image will be restructured automatically.

Audio player and TTS

The device has a pre-installed audio player which allows you to listen to music or audio books. To use it, just run a corresponding audio file with a finger touch. Also, you can connect earphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type C connector. The device supports the TTS (Text-To-Speech) function which can be used to vocalize text files.

Installation of apps

Tab X С is based on the Android 13 operating system and allows you to install and use various third-party apps. The model has a Google Play app store, which has a huge variety of programs in its catalog.

Language and dictionary support

The BOOX allows the user to read documents in different world languages. Amongst them there are such languages as Russian, English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Swedish, Dutch, Finnish, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and many others. Also additional Stardict dictionaries can be installed.
