ONYX BOOX Go 7

ONYX BOOX Go 7 is an E-Reader with a 7” high-resolution E Ink Carta Plus (Carta 1300) display featuring a frontlight and dual touch control. Thanks to its larger screen, the Go 7 displays 30% more information than standard 6-inch models. The device is built on a high-performance hardware platform powered by a modern 8-core processor and 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 13, allowing users to install and use additional applications. This E-Reader is equipped with modern Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and its 64GB of internal storage together with a microSD card slot allow you to store a large number of books and documents directly in the device. The built-in audio player allows you to listen to audiobooks and music via the built-in speaker or headphones. The device is produced in a slim and compact body with control buttons on the side, and its screen is protected by tempered glass. The device comes in two colors: black and white and you can purchase separately a convenient magnetic case to keep the device safe when traveling. The model supports a stylus for taking handwritten notes and drawings (sold separately). Thanks to its larger screen and note-taking ability, this E-Reader is ideal for those who plan to combine reading books and working with documents using a stylus.

Front light system

MOON Light 2 technology allows you to use the device in the dark or in poor lighting conditions, without any harm to your sight. When using this function, a soft glow of the screen is being created which is optimal for reading in dark rooms. This front light system has a color temperature adjustment, and thanks to the use of Flicker-Free technology, shimmering of the screen is completely absent.

Increased screen diagonal

The screen of the ONYX BOOX Go 7 is increased up to 7” and displays 30% more information than similar 6” devices. At the same time, the device is compact enough for comfortable use when travelling.

Screen auto-rotate function

A built-in G-sensor automatically selects the correct text orientation when the device is rotated. Thanks to this option, you can change the orientation of the E Reader and the image will be restructured automatically. The page turning buttons on the right side of the device also change their functions according to the orientation of the screen.

Dual sensor control

The Go 7 has two sensor layers. A multi-touch capacitive layer is located over the screen surface. You can turn pages of ebooks and zoom documents with intuitive finger movements. In addition, an inductive sensor layer is located under the E Ink panel. Thanks to it, you can make handwritten notes and drawings using a special stylus, recognizing 4096 degrees of pressure and allowing you to draw with extreme accuracy. This active stylus for the Go 7 can be purchased separately.

Additional screen protection

Protective ONYX Glass, applied onto the E Ink screen, protects it from scratches and other damage. The use of such glass made it possible to abandon additional screen borders, so the screen is flush with the body of the device. This makes working with this E Reader more comfortable and its look became more modern. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.

High performance

The 8-core processor of 2 GHz clock rate together with 4 GB of RAM ensure a comfort work with any, even the most complex documents, and 64 GB of non-volatile storage together with the slot for microSD cards allow you to store a large library of favorite books.

Bluetooth

Thanks to a built-in Bluetooth 5.1 module, you can connect external devices.

OTG

The device supports OTG, thanks to which you can connect additional peripherals that do not require drivers.

Format support

The BOOX software allows you to open a number of different text and image file formats. While reading, you can change the style and the size of the font, the position of the pages, add bookmarks and zoom documents at your wish.

Audio player and TTS

The device has a pre-installed audio player which allows you to listen to music or audio books. To use it, just run a corresponding audio file with a finger touch. Also, you can connect earphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type C connector. The device supports the TTS (Text-To-Speech) function which can be used to vocalize text files.

Easy content recording

Along with a standard way of copying files into the device with the help of a USB-cable, you may use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a QR-code to transfer files. The cloud PUSH-service BooxDrop is also available.

Installation of apps

ONYX BOOX Go 7 is based on the Android 13 operating system and allows you to install and use various third-party apps. There is the Google Play app store in the device as well, with the help of which you can download and update different applications.

Low power consumption by the E Ink screen and battery capacity of 2300 mAh provides long-lasting autonomous functioning.

Language support

The BOOX allows the user to read documents in different world languages. Amongst them there are such languages as Russian, English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Swedish, Dutch, Finnish, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and many others. Also additional Stardict dictionaries can be installed.
