ONYX BOOX Tab X is a 13.3" E Reader with a high-performance Qualcomm hardware platform and wide range of options for working with text. The E Ink Mobius Carta display has higher contrast, a frontlit system with color temperature control and a flexible plastic base, which increases its reliability. The capacitive sensor allows you to work in the menu, zoom pages with an intuitive pinch. Its second inductive touch layer makes it possible to draw and take handwritten notes. A new graphics processor with BOOX Super Refresh technology provides high-speed screen refresh and smooth movement of objects on the screen. The Tab X is not only ideal for reading, but is also a perfect tool for working with various types of documents. The Android 11 operating system allows you to install and use third-party apps. A built-in Wi-Fi module makes it possible to download ebooks from the Internet and use other network services, and Bluetooth support allows you to connect external devices. 128 GB of internal memory makes it possible to store any necessary ebooks and documents in the device practically without limitations. The body of the E Reader is made of lightweight and durable aluminum-magnesium alloy, the screen is covered with additional protective glass. A high-capacity battery of 6300 mAh provides long autonomous work.

Comfort reading

The 13.3” E Ink Mobius Carta display with the Regal function support is ideal not only for reading, but also for viewing documents in PDF and DjVu formats. The absence of flickering light and the principle of image formation by the "electronic ink" technology makes reading eye friendly. The screen approximately matches an A4 sheet of paper, i.e. it allows you to view scanned pages without zooming.

Format Support

The BOOX software allows you to open a number of different text and image file formats. While reading, you can change the style and the size of the font, the position of the pages, add bookmarks and zoom documents at your wish.

Screen frontlight

The MOON Light 2 technology allows you to use the device in the dark or in poor light conditions without harming your sight. This function creates a soft glow on the screen that is optimal for dark rooms. The front light has a color temperature adjustment and has no flickering thanks to the Flicker-Free technology.

Additional screen protection

Protective glass is placed over the E Ink screen and protects it from scratches and other damages. The new glass made it possible to abandon additional frame edges, so the screen is located flush to the body of the device. It makes the work with the E Reader more comfortable and looks more up-to-date. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.

Outstanding technical specifications

The 8-core processor with 2 GHz clock rate and 6 GB of RAM ensure a comfort work with the most difficult documents. And 128 GB of nonvolatile memory allows the user to store a considerable library of favorite literature.

Dual sensor control

The Tab X has two sensor layers. A multi-touch capacitive layer is located over the screen surface. You can page e-books and zoom documents with an intuitive two-finger pinch. In addition, a Wacom sensor layer is located under the E Ink panel. Thanks to it, you can make handwritten notes and drawings using a special stylus which comes with the device. The stylus recognizes 4096 degrees of pressure and allows you to draw with extreme accuracy.

Dictionary support

The software of the E Reader allows you to install additional dictionary databases in the Stardict format at your wish.

Bluetooth module

Thanks to a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, you can connect external devices.

Screen auto-rotate function

A built-in G-sensor automatically selects the correct text orientation when the device is rotated. Thanks to this option, you can change the orientation of the E Reader and the image will be restructured automatically.

OTG

The device supports OTG, thanks to which you can connect additional peripherals that do not require drivers.

Audio player

The device has a pre-installed audio player, so you can listen to music or audio books. To use it, just run a corresponding audio file. You also can connect earphones or external speakers either via Bluetooth or via the USB Type C connector.

Apps installation

The Tab X model is based on the Android 11 operating system and allows you to install and use various third-party apps, which significantly expand the possibilities of using the device.
